I coach to inspire the next generation of soccer players to consistently strive for higher standards through cooperation, communication, and accountability. No individual can succeed without the help of others, let alone a squad of 11+. I seek to reverse trends of decreased social-learning among younger generations by encouraging more open discussion, particularly about tactics and performance. Players who can explain drills or soccer concepts with their teammates will further progress and solidify their understanding, as well as build social skills which will be key as my high school players may soon enter the workforce. I push my players to be well-rounded individuals both on and off the field that can use positive habits built in practices and games towards higher levels of soccer, education, and their careers. I have the fortunate opportunity to speak from my experience as a player who grew up in the Coachella Valley and encourage players that playing at the next level is very much possible, with the right mentality and accountability.
